A year-long initiation into the mother you are becoming.
Matrescence remakes everything — your body, your sense of time, the way you move through a room. It's one of the largest initiations a person can pass through, and most women pass through it alone. No rite. No elders. No one older to say: this is supposed to feel like this, and I will walk beside you.
So it gets lived as a private unraveling instead.
The Mystery School is the container that holds it properly — a year-long, mentored passage for women who know motherhood is asking more of them than information, and who are ready to be walked through it.
This isn't a course you complete. It's a passage you're walked through.

The Threshold Needs a Different Kind of Support
You may have done the work already — therapy, books, sessions, classes. And still something in you knows this isn't a problem to be solved with more information. It's a passage. It needs a witness, a field, and time.
You may feel more open than you've ever been, and less resourced to hold it. More needed, and less held. More intuitive, and less certain of who you are.
That's not dysfunction. That's initiation. The Mystery School is where we hold it as such.
We all arrive at this threshold from different places....
⊱ You might be at the very beginning, sensing that this work is yours and wanting to start in a way that will hold everything that comes after, instead of piecing it together from short workshops.
⊱ You might already have years of practice. You have been through trainings, perhaps several. You are offering sessions, yet the work feels uneven. Some days it flows, and on other days you feel like you are pushing something uphill.
⊱ Or you may be someone who has been holding space for many people over many years. Outwardly your practice may look steady, while inwardly you notice a slow erosion — a tiredness that rest alone does not resolve.
What We're Building
A field of practice. A place where the passage of motherhood is honored instead of pathologized — where a mother is formed through her initiation, not just patched through it.
Where her becoming is allowed to change the whole family.
What This Year Is Really About
There is no rite of passage for mothers in this culture. No one older to say: you are crossing a threshold, this is a death and a birth, and we will walk you through it.
So that's what this is.
Over the year, you turn inward. You set down what was never yours to carry. You face what was handed to you — the fears, the patterns, the ways of loving and withholding that came down through your line — and you heal them so they stop at you.
Not for your own sake alone. For the family field you're building.
The compass bearing of your own heart is the greatest curriculum your child will ever have. Not what you teach them. Not the philosophy or the method. Who you are — the steadiness of your presence, the quality of your field. When you come home to yourself, that becomes what they grow inside.
This is why it takes a year. Because that kind of becoming needs real time.
The Apprenticeship
Twelve months, because a passage this size needs time to actually enter your life.
Women come in from different places. Some are in the fog of early motherhood. Some are tending teenagers or adult children, or finally turning back toward the becoming that got deferred through years of holding everyone else. Matrescence doesn't end when the children stop being small — some women arrive at this door decades in, still carrying the unfinished return.
The doorway is matrescence. The container is Mystery School.
Where most healer training stops to early...
⊱ A practitioner can study Reiki and still have very little move through their hands. Another may walk into a room and the field softens before they begin. Both have learned the forms but only one carries a steady transmission.
In my experience, the difference does not come from working harder or accumulating more certificates. It grows out of the quality of your relationship with source and the way that relationship is allowed to shape how you practice.
When this relationship is not tended, practitioners often start doing the work from their own energy. You show up with care, but the sessions take more from you than they give. You may feel responsible for outcomes that were never meant to rest on one person. Over time, this is where exhaustion and doubt begin to gather.
I have watched many healers consider walking away at this point, believing they are not cut out for the work, when what is actually needed is a different way of being with it.
When you learn how to lean into something larger, the texture of your practice changes. Your body is no longer the only resource and your presence deepens without collapsing you.
Clients feel the difference, and you do too.
Reiki Mystery School is devoted to this way of practicing — one in which you are accompanied, not alone, in the work you do.
Why this year? Why now?
We are living through a time of real upheaval. Systems people once trusted are shifting. Many are looking for places where they can be met in truth, not just managed.
In moments like this, the quality of the people holding space matters. Technique by itself is not enough. The steadiness of the person in the room, their capacity to stay present without disappearing themselves, and their rootedness in something beyond their own personality all shape what becomes possible.
I have been watching this unfold for many years. This apprenticeship is my response for those of you who feel the pull to meet this moment with more of yourselves, and who also sense that you cannot keep doing that by drawing only on your own strength.
This year asks for commitment. It also offers you the kind of support and companionship that most practitioners simply do not receive.

What You Receive
Weekly live Sanctuary calls. A practice rhythm that holds you through the year — live sessions where you practice together, stay in relationship, and don't lose the thread between sessions.
Two four-day in-person immersives. Twice a year, we gather in person for four days. This is where much of the transmission happens. Ceremony, practice, presence — the things that can't be transmitted through a screen.
Monthly group practice sessions. Led by senior practitioners who carry Bronwyn's lineage and standards. A space to bring what is alive in your practice and be held by a wider field.
Sessions with Bronwyn or her trained practitioners, available in person or online.
A complete online curriculum. A structured path you move through at the pace of real life. The material gives structure; the live container gives relationship; the sessions give support; the community gives continuity. You don't have to hold the whole path in your head — there's a map.
A cohort through the threshold. You're held alongside other women who are also practicing, unraveling, and becoming. If you're building a family life the wider culture doesn't reflect back, you know how lonely that can be. Here you're not the only one.
On Reiki: some women come to the Mystery School and learn Reiki. Others never touch it. The path meets you where you are — it's one practice available inside the container, not the point of it.
Throughout the year, my intention is that you feel held, not left to figure it out alone, while you grow into a practice that is both deeper and more sustainable for you.
