Sacred Schooling grew from the life Bronwyn built with her daughter, Nymue: learning through travel, nature, movement, books, community, ceremony, entrepreneurship, healing, and the real questions of being human.
The Story
I’ve spent nearly three decades working with people at the intersection of Asian medicine, awakening, embodiment, and energetic practice. Some come for clinical care. Some come to study or train. Many arrive at a threshold — when something meaningful is shifting, and they want a grounded, skillful way to meet it

Embodiment
I am devoted to dance as a sacred practice — one that invites the fuller embodiment of who we are and how we live. As an Axis Syllabus Certified Teacher, I bring a rare depth of anatomical precision and embodied intelligence to this work, weaving together Axis Syllabus, Contact Improvisation, mindfulness, and somatic awareness into a distinct approach to movement and transformation.
My work is further informed by extensive study in developmental movement, Chinese medicine, Body-Mind Centring, circus arts, yoga, and Continuum. At the heart of my approach is the inseparable relationship between healing and dance: each deepens and animates the other, becoming a vehicle for empowerment, wholeness, and the nourishment of destiny.

A Bit More Personal
Originally from South Africa, I’ve lived, worked, and studied internationally, and I read and write Hindi, Hebrew, and Spanish. These experiences shaped my respect for cultural lineages — and for the grounded reality of integrating spiritual practice into everyday life.
I live in Berkeley with my daughter, Nymue. I love dancing, gardening, making pottery, and spending as much time as possible upside-down.
